Refinitiv partners with boutique wealth manager – Usdafinance

The financial markets data provider has partnered with Stellan Capital for this effort.

Refinitiv said its wealth management team has built a custom platform that integrates Stellan’s core technology requirements, including global access to market data, content and research, with efficient global order execution across more than 30 scholarships.

Other benefits would include portfolio analysis, portfolio modeling and efficient rebalancing capabilities, as well as integration with Stellan’s other core systems, including the company’s compliance and monitoring system based in Australia, the ASX-listed Australian multi-currency tax reporting solution and its global custodian. .

Daryl Sisson, managing director of the Pacific region at Refinitiv, said the current COVID-19 crisis has highlighted the need for wealth managers to digitize the way they make investment decisions and share information with their customers.

“We are delighted to work with Stellan Capital who [represents] a new generation of private wealth management companies,” said Mr. Sisson.

“In Refinitiv, they found a partner who, like them, [appreciates] that reliable data, presented in an innovative way, is essential in order to formulate informed recommendations for demanding customers.

David Leon, founding partner and portfolio manager of Stellan Capital, said his firm chose to partner with Refinitiv to meet growing investor demands.

“Our main motivation in creating Stellan was that we recognized that there was a systematic shift in investor demand towards a purely relationship-centric model, where financial advice is truly bespoke and transparent to the client,” said Mr. Leon.

Stellan was established in August last year by a group of advisors who had previously worked at various global banks.
