Electro-optical systems (ASX:EOS) announced new orders totaling $33.7 million for defense. The contracts include an €8.2 million ($13.6 million) order for container-based counter-drone standoff weapon systems (CBRWS) from a Western European customer. They will integrate a 70mm long-range anti-drone rocket system, delivery of which is scheduled for 2025.
Additionally, EOS Singapore secured orders for spare parts for remote weapon systems worth SGD17.1 million ($20.1 million). These orders should be delivered in 2025 and 2026.
Electro Optic Systems operates in defense and space systems. Its defense division specializes in remotely operated weapon systems, vehicle turrets and anti-drone technology, while the space division focuses on satellite communications and space control.
Shares are trading up 9.86% at $1.17.
