Boutique manager launches fund targeting global wealth-creating stocks – Usdafinance

TWC Investment Management (TWC) has announced the launch of its Select Global Wealth Creators Fund aimed at Australian wholesale and institutional investors.

The long-only global listed equity strategy aims to invest in a portfolio of 15 to 30 high-quality companies that are typically in the early stages of their industry lifecycle and are best placed to create wealth for their shareholders.

According to TWC, the fund aims to generate annualized excess returns of 3 to 4 percent above the MSCI World Index, by combining an analysis of where a company is in its industry life cycle with an assessment of the company’s track record. direction in creating wealth for shareholders.

The fund, which uses a rigorous, evidence-based investment process, will provide actively managed exposure to innovation in the technology, communications services, industrials, healthcare, consumption and finance.

This includes titles like Block, Netflix, Meta and Novo Nordisk.

TWC’s proprietary investment approach includes a Real Return on Investment (RROI) framework that standardizes business performance by eliminating distortions from published accounting statements.

It systematically classifies companies into distinct stages of their industrial life cycle, ensuring a disciplined approach to identifying management’s wealth creation skill set.

Owen Hereford, managing director of TWC, explained that the investment approach is designed to “eliminate the biases inherent in traditional investing”.
